Tree leaf identifier

Welcome to Starbeamrainbowlabs' tree leaf identification project! The aim of this project is to train an AI to identify the species of tree behind pictures of tree leaves.

I have a prototype AI all ready to train, but I lack a dataset! That's where you come in. Request an invite below, and once it's approved (it might take a few days for me to get to it), you'll be able to help out by sending in pictures of tree leaves, along with the species of tree it belongs to.

Once I've got enough data, I'll train an AI and update this website so you can use it to as many identify trees as you like.

Currently the focus is on trees found growing in the UK (doesn't matter if it's not a UK-native tree, so long as it's growing in the UK), but other submissions are also accepted.
